Loras College and Clarke College teamed together to bring students Dubuque Live, an event of business leaders in Dubuque. Employers told students about the positions that had available both for graduates and internship posibilites. If you're looking for a job in Dubuque click here.

Winter Sports Rap Up Seasons

Winter Sports are rapping up for the year and I spent some time in the Graber Center this past week taking it all in.



Loras hosted the Duhawk Open in the Graber Center. The meet featured big names at all levels of wrestling.



Two division one wrestlers battle it out at the Duhawk Open hosted by Loras College, a DIII school that does not give out scholarships.

Mock Trial Madness

I got an assignment to cover a mock trial competition and I had no idea what to expect. So I walk in the doors and instantly I find myself in a crowd of hundreds of other colleges students dressed up going crazy trying to practice and prepare, and I decide this could be fun!

The whole event revolves around these two boards and this organizer is in charge of telling all 70 teams at the event where their next trial will be.

I'm Back!

Well I'm going to give this another try! I am pretty much taking photos every day for the paper and I am getting some pretty good stuff so I thought I'd share it!

This is a shot of the Loras men taking the field against crosstown foe Clarke College to start of this years soccer season. Loras won 3-1 to keep there #3 in the nation ranking intact.
