Northern Illinois: One Year Later

| Tuesday, February 17, 2009

Last year I covered the shootings at Northern Illinois University and I became very connected to stories I heard of the students and the staff. This year my friend Andrew and I decided to return for the one year anniversary these are the scenes I saw and the people I met. February 14th is no longer Valentines Day to me but the day when all of us for that day are all NIU. Please remember the students that lost their lives in Cole Hall that day.

Sick Day!

| Monday, February 16, 2009

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was good... I went to Northern Illinois University to cover the one year anniversary of the shootings there that I covered last year. I will post lots of those photos when I feel better. (Hopefully tomorrow.) Tomorrow I am suppose to cover an IBM meeting we'll see if I can stop coughing.

Thanks!

Daniel

Chelsea and Kyle Engagement

| Tuesday, February 03, 2009

Chelsea and Kyle were nice enough to ask me to take their engagement photos and of course I agreed because we're Duhawks! We went up to Eagle Point Park on the warmest day of the year so far and got some great shots. It's interesting for me to take couples since I am so used to news, its getting easier and easier and is a lot of fun to get to know good people!
